As much as I am a believer in Jayden Daniels, he is a second year QB who is still learning. Even if you consider this season lost for the team, there is nothing JD5 is going to grasp during practice next season that is better than actual game reps once he is healthy this season. Of course don't rush him back, but if he is healthy with at least a month of football left, you play him.
Thats the only thing that gives me serious pause on the preference to get better draft capital.
Jayden getting his mojo back might be worth losing draft spots.

We of all people know that a teams momentum isnt carried over but i believe a quarterbacks confidence can be at least a little bit especially when that quarterback is so young.

Frankly - all of these coaches need to be proving that they know what they are doing. So, yes - they need to be playing to win. They need to be accountable for what they do this season. No injury excuse - it can be accounted for. Given what you had to work with, did you come up with the best scheme? Did you think to utilize position groups that were less banged up (were you flexible)? There are a myriad of ways to look at it.

The coaches need to be under the microscope, not in a "let's clean house/fire people" mentality, but in a "Let's see how we can get better" mentality. Organization-wide, they need to be looking at always improving in good and bad years. I don't think that's happening consistently across the staff.
