Another ES,er here, fairly active member for the last 15 years or so. I didn’t know what to do with myself this past weekend without a game day thread lol. Glad to see some familiar names here. I’ll try not to screw up 😂

No, the way I read their ahead of time warning Mods were expecting to lose.

I know they fought hard for years, volunteer work, I'm not sure what you mean by fight harder or evidence they didn't or aren't right now.

Fa real...please stop...unless you have evidence they aren't versus jus losing badly to a multi-billion dollar organization back off.

They did us a solid running that place for years for free...the people are what made the site the special, a huge chunk of them and that community are here now.

What exactly do you want that you don't have already? If you need a Tailgate Tailgate, jus go to Reddit or X.

Your take sounds idealistic....good guys lose sometimes.

Welcome to BGO guys - let us know if you need anything. We have a live Game Day chat here. There's a game thread, we just don't use it for game updates since there is a great chatroom.

It was a home that a lot of us spent a ton of time on. Why let it go? I get that this is a great community as well, but a lot of us went through some hard times in life, with only that community to talk to. It's been a huge part of my life for almost 20 years.

Who were you over there?
 
I still check periodically to see if it miraculously comes back. It was a big part of our fandom--and this is a great site, but there are still many posters we enjoyed interacting with, as well as traditions and regular threads that were important to us, as well as a great source of information. It's going to take time for those of us that were active for 20-ish years there.
 
If anyone can reach out to Califan, CommanderintheRye, or any of the others that we got to know over the years, that would be excellent!
