I wonder if anybody will post a vid of Hall's "victory dance" when he recovers from the flu bug.

The down side of his ailment is that he could have spread it to others.
Looks like in the last game, Garcon was the first victim, with back to back penalties and getting hot headed.......

Shoo..Shoo..DeAngelo Flu!!

Come on dude... with or without Hall our secondary is horrendous. This is partly for fun. I was kinda serious when I said he's faking it so he would have an excuse later. Jus' sayin. :secret:

I hope you're right Fear... I hope so! Was really hoping to not have to wait another year to see if one of our draft picks works out long term... See Chase Minnefield, Jarvis Jenkins, Malcomb Kelly, et al.

Tough crowd.

Hall is just like Carlos Rogers. Skins fans hate and mock him. Till they see what his replacements look like that is :)

The thing with Hall that I really detest, is how it seems like it's either a pick, or a huge play/TD with him. He's like a baseball player that swings for the fences every at bat and either hits a HR or strikes out. Hall gives up way too easily too. Almost pathetically to a point with his severe lack of effort.

Too many times I've seen Hall on a guy where he went into his patented failure trot immediately upon the completion if the guy was already past him. I don't think I recall ever seeing him run down anybody, or even attempt to do so. Hall is always the dickhead you see that comes in well after the play is over and dives on a pile.

I'm like damn man, Darrell Green could run the best back in the league down from across the field and nail his ass because he never gave up, and when a guy has a step on you, you just shrug your shoulders and say **** it.

He deserves every single bit of the criticism he gets, because he isn't worth a ****. The huge plays and tds he gives up on a regular basis will never be countered by his 3 INTs a year.

I'll take the other side.

i like Hall. Mind you, he's been surrounded by absolute idiots...both in terms of players and coaches.....the majority of his career.

He's been a winner around losers. I like him, and hope he steps up tomorrow.

I've wondered if there isn't some bad juju with our corners since Champ was traded. If Hall ever had a decent safety core to work within, he'd be fantastic. His gambling style should be backed by a free safety who can cover his mistakes, but part of the time he was here, we've had LL and Reed playing FS, which is not the best, to be kind.

Now he hasn't adjusted his style, which is on him. But to say he's worthless is harsh and off base. He is a good CB, miscast as the best player in a crappy secondary. He should be the second or ideally third best player on a good to great secondary.

What does he do, in the opinion of his supporters, that makes him good? His coverage is terrible, he's lazy and doesn't make an effort once he doesn't get an INT, and he runs his mouth when his game doesn't come close to backing it up. I'm just at a loss for why he still has fans. He'd be a number 3 on a lot of teams, and a weak 2 on every team other than the Redskins.

I hate the fact that he runs his mouth too. Can't stand it. That's a CB/WR thing, to be fair. They jaw back and forth all game long from what I've heard.

Hall plays coverage better than you're giving him credit for. I heard people giving him crap last week and he was playing tight coverage, but well designed, executed offense will beat good defense every time. As much crap as everyone gives Haz (deservedly so), I have to think that possibly Haz could be putting him in a better position.

I hate it too. And I wonder how much of that is his decision, and how much is coaching?

Hall wouldn't be near as mocked/hated if he didn't try to draw so much attention to himself.

You can't go trash talking and trying to bait others into scuffling if you don't back that up with your play on the field...imo.

It would be one thing if this was an irregular occurrence but everyone here knows that at some point during the game today(and every game he plays in),Hall will make a tackle and get into somebody's face, whether it be on the field or the opponent's sideline and the officials will have to separate him from the player/crowd.

There's alot to be said about shutting up and doing your job. That idea has always escaped one DeAngelo Hall.

I don't think that's it......I mean, SOMEBODY has to be the Official Whipping Boy of the Skins.....if it wasn't Hall, who would it be ?
And don't say Cundiff, because you have to be with the team at least a year to be a Whipping Boy
