Great Movies That Others Might Enjoy, Or Ones To Avoid

She's hot in this movie strictly because she's hot..

Yeah, saw Mad Max Friday night, damn. What a rush. Terrific movie.

Saw Spy yesterday and the wife and I laughed pretty much straight through. Really well-done.

Going to see Inside Out on Thursday, and am stupidly excited about that one.

Watched kingsman and it was just meh.

Saw pitch perfect 2 and it was also just meh.

From opposite ends of the spectrum ...

Definitely going to make time for Jurassic World. The hell with the critics--I want to see big-ass dinos chomp stuff.

And you don't have to be a foodie to love The Hundred Foot Journey. The trailer doesn't do its charm or smarts justice.

Saw Inside Out with the fam last night. Amazing. Just amazing. Stunning visually, but also its story and characters. And the humor was terrific too.

Best movie I've seen yet this Summer.

Have watched the latest Coen brother's film 'Inside Llewyn Davis' twice this week. Music alone makes it worth a watch. This one has a lot of layers and depth, it's not for a casual watch.

Watched a couple flicks this weekend - Gone Girl - which I thought was poorly cast but watchable. Ben Affleck is just a tough watch for me, in any role. The girl who played the lead needed to be more dynamic and attractive - she couldn't pull off the role of a psycho who manages to fool everyone.

Also watched Danny Collins. You have to suspend disbelief to accept Al Pacino as an aging pop/rock star, but the cast is great in this one. It comes close to cheesy at a couple points, but in the end it's a pretty endearing little movie. A good 'gonna watch a movie with the wife' flick.

My wife was watching Gone Girl last weekend. I was at home working in the other room and could see the TV. I got the gist of the movie but didn't sit and watch it. It was a strange movie. It was good for most of it, but the last part of it just left me feeling weird about the whole movie. I agree with you about Affleck, but he is better in lifeless roles like this one.

He's a great director...but he never really became a good actor.

new trailers came out over last week during comic con

Batman vs Superman
Star Wars: Rogue 1
Deadpool
X-Men: Age of Apocalypse
Suicide Squad

I cant tell which one I am more excited for at the moment.....

Newest Mission Impossible is, as you would expect, loads of fun. Just an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

Tom Cruise is crazy, btw.

New trailer for the Martian out. Looks awesome. I read the book based solely on the first trailer, I'm all in on this. Looks like a blast.

this looks like it is going to be very good.

Finally watched Mad Max last night...I liked it!
