Good Morning!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I wish we could ask your wife about that.

you'll want to cut the cord, youll want to see your baby from the moment it graces the planet. its an amazing thing I will never forget no matter what happens to me.

She knows how I feel. Her mother is going to be in the delivery room, not me. I will be just as sentimental as I hold my child the first time, I am sure. It just won't be in the delivery room.

Listen guys, I still drag her around by her hair while I carry a club in my other hand. I am a neanderthal I guess.

If you are able to witness your child's birth, and elect not to, man - all I can say is you will have robbed yourself of one of the most amazing moment's any human can have. Man up and be there - you will always be glad you were there.

Great morning! I started new medication for my aortic problems and hypertension, and they are more awesome than I could have hoped for. Yesterday was the first time since about 1998 that I went a full 24 hours without a headache. All day long, my blood pressure stayed around 110/75 - the lowest it's ever been. No palpitations, no chest pains, no heavy breathing, no random sweating fro no reason, no anxiety, it's a beautiful thing. I slept like a baby and didn't wake up all through the night with night sweats.

The best part is, ZERO side effects. I couldn't have gotten more lucky if I tried. No fatigue, no drowsiness, no dizziness, nothing. Even the diuretic isn't making me piss like a race horse, I love it.

Even better, my doctor gave me a printout of some info on it that says 96.7% of people that take Ziac quit smoking within a couple of weeks of starting it. It's definitely made a difference with me. Up until this past weekend, I was smoking around a pack to a pack and a half a day for 14 years. Yesterday, I smoked 8 cigarettes. So far today, I've had 2. And I must say, I feel amazing :D

Extreme, I'm happy for ya, man. Seriously glad you're doing better. :claps: :)

I cannot possibly agree with this more.

When my eldest daughter was born, I touched her tiny hand with my pinky as the nurse was carrying her to the warming table. She wrapped her hand around my finger...it was the first thing she ever did in this world. And though I know it was a reflex, it was one of the most touching moments of my life. Had I missed that, well, I wouldn't have known, but now, I can't imagine depriving myself of that.

When my youngest was born, my mom physically delivered her. Mom is a labor and delivery nurse here in Cumberland, and was with us for both deliveries. We had a very young nurse there for Leah's delivery, and Mom saw something on the monitor and said, "You need to go get the doctor. Now." The nurse hesitated, then left.

My daughter was crowning as the doctor came in. He knew who Mom was and what she did, so as she went to step away he said, "No. You go right ahead." Mom's expert hands caught her own grandchild, and we all sobbed like you wouldn't believe. Though she says my brother and I being born take the cake, I truly believe that was the single greatest moment of her life.

So yeah, El. While I respect where you're coming from, truly, seriously consider being there. The feelings you experience watching your child come into this world are indescribable. The Redskins could win every Super Bowl for the rest of my life, and all of them combined wouldn't compare.

Anyway, love you BGO. I hope you all have a wonderful day. And may God bless you now and always. Peace.

My favorite legends are the humble ones. That's why Monte Coleman is my favorite Redskin. Besides, I've met two of those guys, and they're not all that great. ;)

Good morning everybody! Happy Monday!

No, I'm not trying to be a facetious smart a$$, either.

It being a Monday probably does mean a pleasant wish for the day might be more welcome, tho'. ;)

So have a good one. :)

Good morning all! I am looking forward to another splendid day of doctor's appointments! Filled with more poking and prodding! Joy! :kick_can:

Oh yeah...have a great day everyone! :)

Those of you who know Karla & Dave (georgiaredskin and DFitz), they had a baby over the weekend! A healthy baby girl!

A great morning. Anytime one of coldest days is average Jan. temp and tomorrow will be mid 60s...a great day.

Congrats to Dave and Karla.

Well, I just came from the doctor with Ms Piggy for the 20 week sonogram. I wanted to wait until the birth but Megan wanted to know the baby's gender now. I agreed. So when announcing the baby's sex the doctor exclaimed, "There in NO DOUBT! It's a boy!"

Congrats, El. Remember over 20 years ago bringing my son home in a Redskin outfit. The boy is a die hard Redskin fan, so start your son off right!

My stepdaughter is expecting her first (a girl) in May. First grandbaby...can't wait.

Michael is a great name for a son...just saying.

congrats, bro. make sure to teach him not to be as angry as we were =)

Ha! Partially...

I am naming him after my father, Patrick Michael...

Hi ya'll. Hope it is a nice day for everyone. The weekend is nearly here and we always look forward to it. Make it the best weekend ever.
