The Giants and 49ers have a pretty long playoff history against each other and this Sunday will be the 8th time they face off in the Post Season since 1981. The 49ers lead the playoff series 4-3 with 4 times the winner goes on to win the Super Bowl (1981, 1984, 1986 & 1990).
