Gameday - 2020 Week 14 - Washington @ San Francisco 49ers - TV Map Included

I have a sneaking feeling they just stay on questionable.

I also hope that Morgan goes back to LT.

All things considered, to me the biggest injury impact in this one--and to me tilts the field our way--is that SF has to face our surging D without Garoppolo and Kittle.

Little nervous about what our offense is going to look like without Gibson. He was just starting to figure it out and now this .Turf toe tends to linger and is painful. Everyone knows by now when Mckissic is in there its probably pass out of backfield and Barber is more your between tackle runner. They are nice compliments to Gibson but they are just that.... compliments. I think missing Gibson is going to hurt down the stretch hope he mends quickly . Very interested to see Turners adjustments

The Sims boys need to step up. McKissic can do a reasonable imitation of Gibson but he's nowhere near as explosive or physical. I know folks don't care for Barber, but he had some key runs for us last week. And we need for Logan Thomas to continue to make plays. We just can't afford several of them having an off day. Gotta ball Sunday!

I think Cam will def show up. Steven Jr has not had a good sophomore season IMO. Seems to me people have forgotten about and I know he's hurt and all about #13 . I can't wait to see what Harmon brings back to the table this off season . It'll be nice to get him back in the mix . His physical tools are off the hook. I love those big body physical posession receivers

I want to see a fast start this week. Be aggressive as hell on offense and defense and put some immediate pressure on the 49ers for a change.

Yeah if you can force Mullins to try and win he can fall apart... proved that against Buffalo last Monday. Taking Mostert out of the run game is key... dude can burn you any time he touches the ball.

im a little frustrated with how we've handled the back end of the depth chart at WR. Badet and Robert Foster have not been used at all. Foster is an absolute burner... I would love to see someone on the other side be able to actually stretch the field, even if we're not using it a lot, scaring the other defense changes the whole thing.

Giants are going down today. Dallas will win. Philly has the Saints. Opportunity for us today.

Meanwhile, a moment of silence appears to be in order for the Wentz Era in philly.

Really impressed with how this defense is coming together. There are times where they are downright ferocious and take over the game.

Ultimately, I think my favourite part of today's game was watching Kam Bam return the interception for an INT and having the road paved by Smith Williams with an outstanding hustle block. That type of play characterizes exactly what Rivera is trying to establish here - a culture where you play to the whistle and give guys opportunities to earn it. In Curl and JSW you have two very late picks finding their way on the field and making contributions in December football that matters. Well done Coach Rivera and the rest of the staff! We have been waiting a long time for this.

Anybody else getting tired of Steven Sims Jr.?

I thought that third down ball delivered by Haskins while a little low needed to be caught at that juncture in the game. Additionally, up 8 with about 8 and a half minutes left in the game he had a high percentage third and long catch on a screen type play that he inexplicably decided to go out of bounds with. The offense was not going to deliver the final blow for us today and I thought he could have shown better situational awareness in a time where every second counted.

Just not sure what he gives us outside of being able to show some fairly sure hands on punt return duties right now.
