Game day Thread : Redskins @ 49ers

They went for it and Crabtree made an awesome grab down at the 23. 5 sec left and the kick is good. SF 10- skins 7

The defense looks good, and we're running well behind the right side of the line.

RG3 with only 54 yards passing, but they leave him in.
 
Tracy Porter injured, walks back to get checked out. Replaced by Ducre, and they immediately throw at him.
 
Skins take over near their own 25, try only a few short throws and punt.

Tress Way has another huge punt, pinning San Fran deep in their own territory.
 
Second half is a lot like the first. The defense is playing well, including an INT from the rookie Ducre. The offense is still terrible. Morris needs to be getting the ball more. Every successful run is followed by an incomplete pass or sack. Oh and Tress Way is still punting well.
 
Biggers out with concussion. Porter out, and now an injury scare to Breeland.

3rd and 1 and San Fran runs up the middle.

Stuffed. San Fran kicks and Desean Jackson takes the PR.
 
Morris breaks 100 yards for the first time in forever. The right side of the line is mashing people.
 
RG3 takes a helmet-to-to helmet hit. Stays in game. McCoy starts loosening up.
 
All tied. A decent drive by the offense. Some good, some bad, but nothing devastating. A couple of good runs by Morris, RG3 had his best pass of the day hitting Jackson over the middle for a big gain. But the penalty on the sack by SF is what setup the FG.
 
The defense is coming up big today. If we lose, it's not on Haslett.
 
Drive killing penalty by Lichtensteiger. Griffin stood in the pocket, took a big hit, but delivered to Roberts for a first down. Only to have it called back on a holding call.
 
SF playing a lot of deep cover 2 or something? Box score kinda says the run game is there but not so much on the passing.
 
ANOTHER BIG TURNOVER BY THE DEFENSE! Trent Murphy knocks it from Gore and Thomas recovers.
 
Turnover becomes a FG for the lead. The offensive series was nothing. Run for loss of 1. Max protect on 2nd down, and Griffin has time, but has to go to check down. Then a QB draw on 3rd and long, but this one was for 8 yards.
 
I love that Haz is picking fights with Boldin on the sideline. Now, Gruden is challenging the spot of a first down pickup. Vernon Davis caught it right at the line to gain, but juggled it a little as he was being pushed back. He should be ruled short, but I think Gruden and the pants picker are 0 for the year in challenges. Let's see how this one goes.

Edit: Hey, Gruden won his first challenge of the year. But the niners go for it on 4th and short and get it. Merriweather had a shot in the backfield at Gore, but only got air.
 
Made it back a few mins ago on the fg drive to take the lead.
