ESPN: Shanahan was ready to quit in '12

Damn, i know the losses are bad, and our team is painful to watch, but are you two just angry drunks or what? There's enough vitriol to fire at our team, everybody should just let them take it instead of firing at each other over every piddly misinterpretation of each other's words. Doesn't matter who starts it, one of you should just be the bigger man at some point and just stop. Focus on the team, as it were.
 
With all the spats going on around here the last few weeks the next BGO Tailgate might have an MMA match breakout. Makes me sad. :(

At the end of the day, the Coaches ran those teams. The Cowboys teams of the early 90's were so stinking talented it was obscene, but this is a team where it always seems one player has the Owner's ear and make suggestions that get trickled down. It used to be Portis, now it's Griffin.

A lot of people think M.Shanahan was the leak for the Jason Reid & Sally Jenkins articles a few weeks back... So ESPN leak isn't a surprise
 
I am so sick of this shit. Just fed up. If Shanny leaked any of this crap, he deserves to be fired immediately. If not, and this is all some stupid game by Snyder to make him look back so he can fire him without suffering the wrath of the fans? Shit.

Either way, this reflects incredibly poorly on the team I love. There is no way this works out well for us. And I am so ****ing tired of it. It's bad enough that the product on the field today was as poor as I have seen in years, but now the off the field drama makes that look like a positive?

It's shanahans MO to do this. He's been doing it since he got here with Shefter and Jenkins. A lot of people write it off but it's what he does.

I can't imagine Snyder has any friends in the media to pull this sort of thing off. Not at espn, nfl network, and the Washington post at least.

Not really. They have some insider connections. Much of what you saw this morning was hinted by this group recently. It simply came to the surface today.

Snyder could just have somebody else do it like when he wanted Gregg Williams to look bad before he shitcanned him instead of hiring him as HC. Or when that crap with Spurrier was going on. Or when Schottenheimer was not on his good side.
