ESPN: Shanahan was ready to quit in '12

This is the first time I have seen a head coach come out and publicly talking about one his players coming in and playing well so the team could trade him for a draft choice.

Shanahan like Griffin has developed diarrhea of the mouth in recent weeks.

When is this lunatic just going to shut up and coach?

Here we waited two plus years for Shanahan to find a qb to run his offense after suffering through McNabb, Grossman and Beck.

Now that the payday for that patience should be here instead we have all of this BS.

Reminds me a lot of the Vinny years.

Shanahan is really showing he can wear all these hats well isn't he?

Good. I wouldn't sit there and take that crap anymore either, who does it benefit other than the media?

Anything he said would have caused a problem. It's a textbook toxic environment.
