You're wrong about this. I told everyone I was not happy about what we gave up for Griffin because he played too hard and would get crushed in the NFL. He did. We lost an entire season because of it. A lot of younger players may never have had time to develop on offense because the entire game plan had to switch in his 2nd season. I was not wrong about Griffin. Exactly what I feared came to fruition. Right now one rookie of year year is about a wash since his injury made us the 2nd worst team in the league the following season.

I like drafting a kicker since we got that extra 7th! He would never have been there in UDFA.
 
OK, now we have a pick I REALLY hate! His Mom must have won a Johnny Rocket's contest and was allowed to make the final pick. On the bright side, he plays Special Teams.
 
They could've at least drafted a guy like this:

Cairo Santos K Tulane

Definitely for kickoffs:

Zach Hocker: Hit three 50 yarders this seaz, one from 54. Kickoffs: Avg'd 63.2 yd distance, 34 touchbacks. 68% touchback 2nd SEC, 5th NCAA.

I remember quite clearly that you felt we paid way to much for him. You were adamant about it. I don't remember much about concerns for his health, only the 'price' we paid. It doesn't matter honestly. But you are just like the rest of us Brian. Sometimes you're dead on. Sometimes dead wrong.

Just take note that you are able to express your opinion just like everyone else here. The imaginary 'bias' is just that.

Well, to be fair, you really don't know if he'd have been drafted after us - you're just being a pain in the ass :)

You are wrong about Griffin even with a wobbly knee and no pass protection and a defense that couldn't be trusted he still came up with middle of the road stats.
 
And if he would have been drafted after us - probably cut & Skins get him anyway. Sound familiar? How did we get Kai? Just saying...

It's not so much who the pick now, it's who contributes and makes plays. I have faith.
 
A few notes about our draft:

Redskins get an overall "B" grade from NFL Network.

Jay Gruden says Forbath has to kick off better. "Every other position on the football team has competition. Kicker should be no different."

Gruden says Hocker could possibly be kickoff specialist paired w Forbath but says they'll compete.

#Redskins Jay Gruden says they will be targeting DL tonight in UDFA's....envisions Seastrunk as a developmental guy in pass catching.

Jay Gruden asked to single out a player he's enamored with that the #Redskins drafted today: "Lache Seastrunk." Said his speed's enticing.

#Redskins Jay Gruden says they feel good about ILB after the mini-camp and singled out Keenan Robinson.

Seastrunk's vertical leap is insane.
It's 6 inches higher than receiver Ryan Grant !!
He had the best vertical leap of all college RB's at 41.5 inches, a full inch higher than 2nd place.

Concerned about his pass-catching ability ?
Just lob it up ther 12 feet in the air, and he'll catch it, and then use his speed to blaze for a TD
