I don't get into player evals like many of you, so I have to base my gut instincts on what others say and not my own two eyes.

So with that caveat ... right now I'm thinking I'm a happy guy if it ends up being Bitonio or Moses on the OL, or big man Nix on the DL.

That good feeling will last a few days. Then it will be about finding out over the next couple of years if any of them can actually play.

Reality has a way of setting in pretty fast once the post-draft news cycle fades to black.

Nix has some motor issues, but everything I've read is that Gruden is a great motivator. If he can't get him going, nobody can.

well...it won't be what I wanted! if I recall correctly....9 cbs/safeties in the first round! that shelf has mostly been picked clean. we're gonna have to wait until next year on that one.

we're sittin pretty with about 2-3 terrific options. I'd trade down and package Cousins to get two second rounders if I felt I could get one of my top 3 guys on the board. we could draft one of the two OTs and the MSU lb.

if we stay put and Doc Andrews is on board...I go with the AL OT...CK
 
I saw Dennard falling and was hopeful, but no such luck. I wouldn't be surprised to see San Francisco trade up for Marquise Lee, they need another WR for sure.

Not crazy about Kouandijo. He failed some physicals at the combine due to arthritic knee - Su'a-Filo has missed time at strength training during college so I don't see him as a plug in starter, he might be up to a year off. As far as the DTs, I think they have more pressing needs then the defensive line - granted that is just my opinion. Hageman might fall to the high 3rd round, again just my opinion.

I'm glad we ended up with Griffin, Garcon,Desean Jackson. Morris and Reed. That's significant firepower if they can get a serviceable offensive line and with the next pick The Washington Redskins get some OLine help. I like the big LT from Alabama to play RT for us. I can't recall his name. We are good at LT.I'd like to say the same thing about the right. I won't be available to watch live but recording it just the same.

Cleveland has sold 1500 season tickets in the 12 hours since the Browns selected Johnny Manziel.
 
I was surprised that SF took Jimmie Ward, at 190 he was projected to be a second round pick. Seems they really reached for need.

I like Tandler's idea of trading #34 to the 49ers for 59 and 61.

Grab OL and DB/LB.

I go back and forth. Two seconds would be great, but at 59 I think all the first round talent will be long gone.

Remember, Jansen was pick 37.
