McNabb reminds me of the people who leave in tears after their American Idol audition, who almost without exception say 'But my family and friends always tell me I'm a great singer!'

I didn't think he ever really had the stats to make the HOF, but I believed a truckload of NFC Championship appearances might get him in. So he was always an outside looking in kinda prospect to me anyway. But he thinks he's a first ballot guy? That's not only laughable, that should be enough to shun him.

Ken Stabler has very similar stats to McNabb's, and he was a better QB. He never got in, but McNabb thinks he's going in on the first ballot?

This guy just doesn't seem to get it. He goes out and works hard to lose "15,20 pounds" to try to make another comeback and then says it wasn't about being out of shape when he was released by Minny or couldn't get along with the Shannahans, it was about what others perceived about his size.
