at least banks can actually suit up. merriweather gets hurt in warmups!

I never wished any harm, to any of our TE's. But I knew it was the only way Cooley could make it back.
Niles Paul, so far, has been a 10 on special teams. A zero, at TE.
Logan Paulsen, I like a lot.
Davis, was doing fine. But I don't think that he was doing anything that Cooley couldn't. Now, maybe we'll see.
His knowing the system is huge. But, he can't be in great football shape, yet.

I'm more worried about Davis going to pot while rehabbing![]()
I'm not sure that's going to be our problem much longer.

Don't get me wrong, I think Cooley has kept himself in great shape. It's just not football shape. Seems easing him in slowly would be the ticket.I don't know, Cooley worked his ass off to get into football shape this year, and it's about 9 weeks since he was cut. I don't see him as being the type to just sit around and let himself go to pot.
That's true Pete. And I'm not sure I'm ready to pull the plug, although his apparent laziness yesterday was infuriating. But if Bruce can find a suitable replacement on the cheap, I think Sleepy's gone.

I'm buying! Can you imagine his reception at FedEx after catching the winning score against Pittsburgh next week? What you're saying makes perfect sense.
I think Cooley will hit the practice field with both barrels loaded. Though you'll likely never hear it, there's a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and he's out to prove people wrong.
Three catches for 62 yards, and a touch down come Sunday![]()
