Granted, this comes from the same source that said we were a lock to get Peppers. Still, this might actually make sense from a depth perspective. I'd rather have Grossman, who's been in Kyle's system for a year, than Collins.

This "new" approach to free agency is starting to feel a little weird-almost the exact opposite of the "hyper-aggressive" pursuits of the past. Interesting to watch unfold but difficult to read.
