• Boogie Basham (Linebacker) — Released
• D.J. Johnson (Linebacker) — Released
• Qwuantrezz Knight (Safety) — Released
• Joshuah Bledsoe (Safety) — Released
• Nick Nash (Wide Receiver) — Released

No real surprises here.

The people who want Jaden Bradley on the 53, do you just hope he gets squeezed in somehow, or do you want him over Brown, Burks, Luke, etc if that was the only spot left?

I doubt he beats out Brown, Burks or Lane since they all sat out the finale. I feel like the top 6 are set just based on who played and didn't play yesterday: McLaurin, Diggs, Williams, Burks, Lane, D. Brown.

He might beat out Luke. Luke might be toast anyway. If they keep 7 and he's the 7th, that's interesting. I think it would mean he would definitely play teams.

It could be he was in competition with Luke and Van Jefferson for a spot. It also could mean they are taking 6 and he's headed to the PS. Which would be fine. If he ends up there, he might get elevated for a game or two if there are injuries.

The best argument to keep 7 receivers on the initial 53 is that we may not have 9 or 10 o lineman who are NFL worthy so it might be better to temporarily keep an extra receiver who you do think has upside while you fish the cuts and waivers for extra linemen.

I suspect the Front Office has a mindset similar to 'Best Player Available' in the draft. They probably don't put nearly much stock into positional need as we do as fans. They probably have more confidence (whether we think it is misplaced or not) that they can coach/scheme through any weaknesses with a given unit and will focus on keeping the most talented athletes.

Isn't that the truth. As it stands Good-Jones is probably one of our top 9 or 10 OL, ewwww

Van Jefferson and Luke must be better than some of the bottom 6 WR's on some teams.

After Terry, Diggs and Williams, the WR I most consistently heard positives about was Jefferson. Luke is a young proven KO returner with upside at WR.

I think Owens is a lock to make the roster. He flashed throughout the offseason and was probably the only player who played with some energy yesterday.

Yup and he was not a lock in June. He had a really good summer and finished it off well against the Ravens

I had him on my 53 playing inside as a backup NT type player. Tuttle was the other. Will be interesting to see what that means because maybe they carry only 5 DT's. If they carry only 5, that means there's an extra spot elsewhere. The edge guys are considered LBs. DL is playing the 3 down spots.

This is the first mildly shocking cut to me.

I'd assume he would be a PS candidate.

So the DL looks like (as of now) Payne, Kinlaw, Settle, Omenihu, Tuttle.

It looks like Tuttle beat out Cowhart and they were only going to keep one of them. Settle returning from injury probably sealed Cowhart's fate.

So, as we hit a pause for a second, I'm trying to use AI to compile the comprehensive list and just scrape twitter. Google AI (just through the browser) sucks. Jean Claude gets the answer correct, but it tries to be so had to be perfect, it takes forever.

It's possible the machines are going to take over eventually and humans will be replaced like in Terminator. However, since it can't aggregate twitter feeds easily, I think that time is a far way off...
