Confirmed Signings

well...seems to me they decided right after last season that a complete housecleaning was needed. I'm good with that...I'll take a couple years of rebuilding (i.e., so so records) if the trajectory is upward.

Rick Maese just re-tweeted this from Kemo

" thank you redskin nation you guys been Great"

I'll give the guy credit for displaying class.

Nothing wrong with Kemo except his injuries robbed him of his explosiveness off the ball at age 33. If we had the Kemo of 2006 on the roster we wouldn't have needed to add Cofield.

One the mods on that Packers site I visit has been listening to a live interview with former Packer OG Daryn Colledge-now going to Arizona.

It seems the Redskins and Eagles both submitted "bids" for him until the Cardinals came in and snatched him up with a better offer.

Interesting.

what abt our #1 pick? is he gonna hold out until te picks around him are signed? ugggh!

Last I saw about an hour ago-

Ryan O'Halloran

First round pick Ryan Kerrigan left the building so looks like no deal for him yet.

Ryan O'Halloran

Remaining unsigned #Redskins picks: Kerrigan (1), Jenkins (2), Gomes (5), Thompson (7), Hurt (7) and White (7).

How many first rounders have signed so far?

Found a tracker- 3 so far.

Due to the compressed offseason schedule these rookies are well-advised to get their deals done so they can have a role on the field in 2011. They need all the work they can get.

Pre-season games are going to take on a whole new complexion. More combinations will show up than you'll be able to keep up with. Could be fun to watch. Or painful.

Or a combination of both.

I bet we will see Kerrigan and Jenkins signed either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. A lot of pieces will fall across the league today that will enable us to give fair contracts.

They're listening to you, BT-

Rich Campbell by SkyKerstein

Draft picks DB DeJon Gomes and OLB Markus White have agreed to terms. Still working on terms.

I dont care!! FOOTBALL IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!

sorry, had to geek out for a moment.

Im wondering if we'll see starters get more playing time than usual since camp is obviously shorter and they have so much to try and jam in there. Teams like Denver are going to be hurting big time with a new coach and system.

Geek away, Mike-we all are.

I'm thinking pre-season will be an extended training camp with a lot of decision making and waiting till the last minute cuts to get the rosters to regular season size.

BTW, is it still 53? I don't know if the new CBA changed that or not.

I thought it was agreed that it will be 54 with the 3rd string QB rule being done away with.
