To be fair, he didn’t threaten access, he threatened ‘special access’… small nuance I know - but there is a difference. I agree that wasn’t necessary but I tend to look at who created the situation vs. criticism of how someone reacts to ridiculously poor behavior. I kind of like that Wright said ‘this is not okay’ but I get some do t see it my way.

Am I the only one who thought Jason was right for what he did?

People just feel they can say whatever they want nowadays and it doesn't matter if it's rude or not. He seems to be letting not just that guy, but anyone paying attention that he won't tolerate trolls or people disrespecting his guys.

Personally, I love it. I wish more people kicked journalists out of places so they'd learn to ask things in a polite manner.

My only issue is that, given the current atmosphere surrounding this team, the optics are poor. Wright's history of fucking things up does not lend much credence to anything he says. From the outside looking in, it makes him sound petty and vindictive, which is not what this franchise needs right now.

Have you noticed reporters and their ilk have come to the place where they feel like they can say anything as long as they preface it with 'Real talk'? They use it as a shield to say, I'm asking the real tough question here or making the real tough observation. As others have said, the idea behind the question was fair, but the way in which it was done was being a jerk.
