C-A-P-S

It's gonna be Rierden... I honestly believe it was the plan all along and the Stanley Cup was a big surprise. We prevented Rierden from interviewing with other clubs last offseason, and we gave him a promotion in order to do it.. All while we were going into the final year of Trotz deal.

The buzz is that Rierden actually had more to do with the success this year than Trotz because Rierden was in charge of the PP as well as the defense. Add to that now signing back the 2 biggest FA defensive names to big, multi-year deals... We lost Orpik, but it wouldn't surprise me if we sign him back in the coming weeks as well.

Did the Av's already salary dump Orpik? I can't see them keeping him at 5 mil.

If we can get him back on the cheap, I'm down for a 1 year deal.

Just saw a report that we're one of a few different teams who have been in contact with him.

And we just named Rierden as HC.

And Orpik is back

Great opening to the season. The video tribute was goosebump inducing. I could only imagine if the local football team could accomplish similar success.

Crazy way to start the season, a shellacking of Boston and a bs 20 game suspension for Wilson

Wilson is a cheap shotting pos. I'll hand it to the caps for looking solid, but **** that guy Wilson

I'm in Tampa for the CAPS vs Lightning tomorrow night. I was in Bern's Steakhouse waiting for a table in the bar when Ovi, Kunetsov, and a couple of the boys walked by being escorted to their table.

Hey, Win...Tom Wilson said to tell you :instigate:

Ha, good game on Tuesday night btw.
Wilson had a flyer give him a little poke to the midsection yesterday. Hate to see the injuries, but that dude has quite a few due back on him.
That should be a helluva game, Tampa is playing on another level this year. Have fun at it

man, Lundquist needs open heart surgery.

That is just scary.

yeah no doubt. he's ont he shelf for the season

Betcha cant guess which one is Chara

Back to back OT losses to Pittsburgh, the scheduling for games this year and while probably necessary under the circumstances is already making it hard for me to get as engaged as usual. Scoring already seems up this year around the league, not having a pre-season would be my assumption as to why or the fact the refs seem asleep right now.
