Burner's Burning Questions: Offseason Edition, Free Agency 2014

which is how they get a hold of him. if they had his number they would have called him directly.

How do you know? I would think the agent is generally who teams go through to contact players. The agent, knowing Corey's dream job was buffalo (home city, family, etc), contacted him while at redskins park. There is no issue here with the Bills. If anyone got in the way of our time with Corey, it was his agent. He's just looking out for his best interests, which is his job.

JSteelz also tweeting that TE Owen Daniels is visiting. Nice replacement for Sleepy if we can land him. I think Reed would still be 1st.

It was Ninja Text for some reason, but were you reporting this...?

SB Nation Texan's blogger wrote this this morning-

I know of absolutely no one clamoring for the Texans to re-sign Darryl Sharpton. He's constantly injured and has shown that it's extraordinarily difficult for him to stay on the field. When he has seen the field, Darryl Sharpton has not demonstrated that he's much more than a depth play at linebacker.

Trying to cut and paste into the black background option is a pain in the butt.

Owen Daniels? Lauvao who had injury issues? Now this oft-injured linebacker? We are putting together the all-infirmary team, lol.

Which seems like a great idea given the stellar record our medical team has.

:paranoid:

Porter is a better cornerback than Corey Graham.

Why would anyone not be down with this move?

Is he? I saw where Porter was the 7th worst corner in the league at giving up YAC. Something like just under 400 yards last year. Does he get beat long or does he struggle at tackling?

New Redskin linebacker Daryl Sharpton: 2nd highest grade (+8.8) of any ILB in run defense in 2013 . 3rd lowest grade in coverage (-11.9)

People are so funny! Had a great visit with the skins today. Some things just take time. I love twitter! Be kool guys! Keep it Klassy!

On the one hand, there's a guy calling out all the twitter reports about him.

On the other, can you really expect him to say anything different?

So, after a quiet first day we're now signing a bunch of guys? Does that seem fair?

I don't have a problem with it. Again - it fits the idea that they have a plan. And not a Vinny Cerrato - this one guy will fix it - plan, but an actual plan that addressed acquiring a multitude of players.
