6'0 and 236. Looks like a guy that is going to move inside in the 3-4.

Finally, a LB with instincts in coverage. Boy, it has been years since we have had one of those.
 
Can't really complain about Spaight except that Adrian Amos went one pick later. I thought we'd want a speedy Safety. I like that McShay mentioned "tough guys" as a common theme of our draft.
 
Perry Riley missed a ton of plays in 2014 that cost the team yardage. I saw a bit of that myself and John Keim mentioned it specifically at the end of the season as something the team needed to address.
 
I know he's recovering from an ACL but I think Ifo Ekpre-Olomu would be a steal if he's still there at our next pick. NFL.com compares him to Alterraun Verner and he'd be great in the slot, a definite position of need. That would allow us to shut the door on Tracy Porter and move Amerson to FS.
 
That's what I'm talking about Jimbo.

Goldson turns 31 before the season starts. We may get one or hopefully two seasons out of him.

I''d like to either see a safety drafted, or even a CB that could allow Breeland or Amerson to move over.

The Redskins know they have issues in the secondary, right? I'm concerned for them that they haven't addressed either position there yet, but Martrell Spaight is a solid choice. He could have gone in the fourth. He'll contribute on special teams to begin his career and will eventually fight for playing time on defense.

This is why I wanted Amos over Spaight but if we move Amerson to FS then we should be OK. We would still need a Corner to replace Amerson unless they think Hall will be back.
 
Skins trade down with Saints, pick up another pair of 6th rounders...one this year and one next year.

Skins now pick 5,6 and 11 in the 6th round.
 
Just traded out of the 5th. We got NO's sixth (187) and a sixth in 2016. We now have picks coming up at 181, 182, 187, and 222.

So we got back a pick in 2016 to make up for the one we gave up for Goldson. Sweet!
 
If it was a #7 this year or a #6 next year, we made the right decision.

The trade is a sign the Redskins may not be passionate believers in any of the remaining prospects.
 
BB, your boy Nick Boyle went to the Ravens. Any thoughts on a TE in round 6? O'Leary? Koyack?

Only referred to him as your boy because of the mock. I think you'd have been right about Tre if not for the Pats.
 
Midgets have a chance to take a player at 186 that we may want 187. Hope they take some sour shake from the University of Dairy Queen.
