Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2015 (Continual Updates)

Okay so we not only got robbed on the pick announcement we picked Frodo.

Dude is like 4'8"...oh well I like the other 3 choices so far.

Crowder had 85 receptions for 1,044 yards and 6 TDs in 2014. He was very good at punt returns with 2 TD in both '13 and '14

He's tiny, but also a punt returner. Likely plays the slot.

Somewhere Santana Moss and Andre Roberts are both sweating.

I would have preferred Rashad there.....oh well.

I'm guessing tana knows he's done already inside.

Aaaaaaaand we're right back on track with proper attention with the new G. Wonder if Lerib is packing up his shit yet or waiting til after camp?

Is the new guard any good? The tape flashed on TV showed him getting pushed back every clip I saw! All SEC so the clips may just be bad cuts.

His NFL draft bio really ripped into this guy. 'poor athleticism'................'it was hard to watch him try and make blocks moving out of the phone booth'..............scout 'has name, but never played up to it'.................

Well, Gil Brandt is 70 years old.

The draft bio on Jarvis Harrison, 6'4 330, looks a bit better at OG at the next level.

Want to hear the team's thoughts on Kouandjio.

Damn Patriots drafted Tre Jackson ONE pick ahead of the Redskins.

I wish teams would stop trading and giving Bellichick 15 picks each year in the draft.

Opinions vary greatly on this pick. From Walterfootball:

Washington Redskins: Arie Kouandjio, G, Alabama: A- Grade

And here's the other guard who was "expected" to go undrafted because of a bogus medical report. Arie Kouandjio did drop a bit - some teams viewed him as the third-best guard in the class - so I like this pick for the Redskins from a value perspective. Kouandjio also obviously fills a need.

Well, with Callahan on the staff the team evidently thinks there is reachable upside with this pick, which others are discounting.

I was just shocked by the NFL draft bio, you usually don't see that many negative comments about a player, even guys that Brandt doesn't expect to be drafted.

Yeah BD, I was pissed the Pats took Tre. I just don't like Kouandjio but there's a question about Jarvis Harrison's desire. I thought Josue Matias would have been a better pick.

Well I figure he's got a year to learn and push Chester so I'd say it's a good one...as of now. Has he played C? Could be looking to replace Licht as well.

If Spencer Long could beat out Chester at RG, we could move Chester at 6'3 and 313 to center and bump Lichtensteiger at 6'2 and 295 to the role of a top reserve.

Just hoping Callahan can do something with Kouandjio. I don't really see him as an upgrade over McRib but at least he's younger than Chester.

You can't do much worse than LeRibeus. His rookie year he is on the inactive list for 14 or 15 games. Then he comes into camp 30 pounds out of shape the next season and does nothing last summer to beat out a pair of very, very average guards..........................

I'd like to see one more O-lineman......and then let's take a look at that secondary.

Still need a FS. And hard to find our 5th or 6th round Sherman/Breeland if we don't take a shot.

And BB's TE prospect.

well, he does one thing that Leonard Hankerson and Aldrick Robinson could not do..................catch the football.......it's a good start :D
