Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2015 (Continual Updates)

Collins is 228 and ran a sub .449.

His skills need to be refined in coverage, but he has tools.

Although I would consider taking Harold with the sixth pick.

I have no problem with Collins, just stating what I've heard and read. You'd think we'd strongly consider a guy who REALLY wants to be here. Maybe they think he's too short or maybe it's another smokescreen.

Still, if we don't trade down and he's still on the board, I think the pick is Harold.

I also wouldn't rule out Randy Gregory. He idolizes Kerrigan, and even originally committed to Purdue to follow him to college.

This is the worst draft for problem children upfront I can remember in a long time.

Whoa......here we go. 30 minutes out.

Adam Schefter reports on NFL Live that the #Redskins are among the teams considering trading up in round two.

Maybe not true........get your popcorn ready.

Who the heck would we be trading up for unless it's Gregory?

Look at all these rumors
Surrounding me every day

ROFLMBO at the rumors of Chip going to coach the Titans next year! Yeah! Leave Philthy in shambles! Yeah!

Preston Smith is a far superior prospect to Trent Murphy. He is Justin Tuck. Can stand up in this D, then move inside. No. 13 overall for me

This is an OUTSTANDING pick from the Redskins.

Walter Football:

Washington Redskins: Preston Smith, DE/OLB, Mississippi State: B+ Grade

The Redskins lost Brian Orakpo this offseason, so it's not a big surprise that they added an edge rusher early in the 2015 NFL Draft. They selected Trent Murphy last year, but Murphy, Ryan Kerrigan and now Preston Smith can form a stout rotation. Smith was pretty underrated throughout this entire process. He's an athletic edge rusher whom I thought had a chance of sneaking into the first round.

I'm sorry but that is not a very good highlight reel on the kid.

Who is Josh Norris? I've never heard of him.

Chuck's half brother.....he knows his stuff!

Nah I have no idea

ESPN NFL draft evaluator. The younger version of Mayock/McShay.

Knows as much about college football players as anyone. Good guy. Had him ranked 13th overall in the draft.

We just raped the seahags of picks!

Basically swapped 3's and got their 4, 5, & 6th rounders

Not really raped. Magoo gave the Hags a buddy discount. According to the trade value chart we gave up 245 points and got back 238. Still, more picks equals more leverage.

We didn't just 'swap 3's' - we moved from 69 to 95 - that's a big drop.
