Well, as some on Twitter have pointed out - if a team or two contacts the Skins about a trade possibility and the Redskins answer with 'we're not interested', the media is going to say 'The Redskins are in discussions about a trade deal'. The truth may be the exact opposite but that doesn't keep these 'sources' from going with it. When Dianna Russini is spouting as if it's a fact, there's about a 75% chance it's bullshit. That much I do know :)

A couple of years ago I would be on Trent's side but I am not this time around if this is really about the money.

We made him the highest paid LT in the NFL when he signed his current deal.

The fact this isn't even the last year of the deal makes me skeptical.

Again, if he came out in 2015 or 2016 and just said he was sick of losing and wanted to be traded I would have understood.

Gotcha...thanks. I think I saw somewhere that he had something benign removed, so I couldn't figure out what the big deal was.

Is she the one who broke the news about the skins gauging interest? Would be nice to hunt the actual source down and ask him/her where this info came from. Could it possibly be from Trent's camp?

I will be calling for Bruce's head if he doesn't get something like a 2nd and 4th this year and a 3rd next year depending on qualifiers...nothing less than a 4th.

We are definitely not getting a 1st round pick for him, he's oft injured. But we should be able to maneuver a few picks.

Walkthrough ended about an hour ago. There is rarely much to report about when they do the walkthrough.

As you can see from the Mitch Tischler post, it is more hype and speculation than substance. Assuming that TW71 is staying, Donald Penn will be a great backup and will probably be needed for a game or two. Plug and play with ease - a great option to have.

Geron Christian would still be the swing tackle and he is having a good camp.
