I still don't understand why it has taken Christian longer to return from an MCL than some players return from an ACL.
That Tampa game was Week 9.
With Colt having 3 surgeries to fix a broken fibula you really have to wonder about the injury bug on this team.
I remember in the 1980's the Capitals had a similar run of decimating injuries that players were slow to bounce back from.
Ultimately the team changed the medical firm consulting with the team.
Perhaps it was change just for changes sake, but the injury wave seemed to come to an end the next season.
I don't feel it is necessary to renegotiate Trent's deal with 2 years left that at the time made him the highest paid tackle in NFL history, but if a change in the medical ops could help get Trent back on the field we should definitely consider it.
