There are still several players on the board as we enter the 5th round that many draft experts thought should be gone by now.

We passed on guys with our two fourth round selections that very well might still be there when we pick in the 5th.

This happens every year, but somehow, people are still shocked every time it happens.

I'm beginning to believe that outside the first three rounds, there really might not be that big a drop off in terms of talent level when you are talking about a 4th rounder compared to let's say a 6th.

These day three success stories are really all about the proper coaching and putting these guys in the proper system to succeed.

I don't see the comparisons of Martin to Josh LeRibeus.

Martin is a workout warrior in the weight room and doesn't play out of shape as LeRibeus did in college even before the Redskins drafted him.

Then you add in that Martin has been a left guard and that is exactly the position the Redskins need to fill on the OL more than any other.

To me it's a natural fit.

Again, I think Martin is the kind of middle round pick that New England makes every year.

Holcomb looks like s solid special teams pick.

Just watched some tape on the guy, he reminds me of Compton...has a nose for the football. Let's hope he's faster.

Holcomb does? That is fast! That could put him on the field next to Foster if he has the nose for the football like Compton I think I saw on a little bit of film.

Also, wtf is wrong with Derrius Guice? His tweet is being used to stir controversy.

His recovery was set back at first by an infection but as of now I think he is ready by TC and the good thing is we don't have to lean heavy on him coming back but can ease him back. His first 10 tackles or so everyone will be closing their eyes

He had 3 additional surgeries for infection from what I've heard.
