Anybody know if there will be any NT's of note that the Skins might consider today?

Thanks. I felt confident with the Thomas choice and the idea of drafting three or four defensive backs. We've done that with the seventh rounder yet to come.
 
I cannot believe we got Thomas in the 4th and Rambo in the 6th. I don't expect these guys to start right away, but I see Gomes on the short list of safeties now...Reed might be on his way out too. Depends how hard these guys work in the off-season.

It's possible. In the first day of UDFA signings, the players that have signed are numerous and one can slip through the cracks, so to speak. As we know, the team will issue an official statement at some point.
 
While rummaging around online I found an interesting evaluation from Draft Insider of one of the UDFAs we signed-Jacolby Ashworth from Houston.

BTW, he's listed at about 6-3 1/2 to 6-4 300-305 lbs on sites mentioning him.

Jacolby Ashworth
School: Houston
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his junior season.
Positive: Effective college tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Plays with good pad level, consistently blocks with leverage, and moves well on his feet. Keeps his hands active throughout the play. Displays better than average strength at the point of attack and adjusts to oncoming blitzers. Keeps his head on a swivel and plays with good awareness. Stays square and keeps the defender in front of him. Better than average range sliding off the edge to protect the quarterback.
Negative: Marginal run blocker who does not get much movement at the point of attack. Has an injury history.
Analysis: Ashworth was a solid college lineman who spent most of his time at left tackle before moving inside to guard as a senior. He moves pretty well and could be useful in a zone-blocking system at the next level.

Useful in a ZBS?. That acquisition now makes sense.

Here's another bit of info-Nick Williams the WR from UConn-looks like a replacement for Brandon Banks maybe as well as adding WR dept.

Senior wide receiver and kick returner Nick Williams (Windsor, N.J.) of the University of Connecticut football team has been chosen to play in the second annual Casino Del Sol All-Star Game. The contest is scheduled for Friday, January 11 at Kino Stadium in Tucson, Ariz.
A second team All-BIG EAST selection, Williams proved to be a valuable weapon in the UConn pass, run and return games. He caught 30 passes for 334 yards and carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards and a touchdown. In the return game, Williams averaged 20.4 yards per kick return and 12.0 yards per punt return. He ran back punts for scores of 58 yards in a win at Maryland (Sept. 15) and 80 yards in a win over Pittsburgh (Nov. 9).

One of four team captains, Williams was twice named the BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week. He finished his career as the Huskies’ all-time leader in kick-off return yards with 2,045 and ranks second in yards per return at 25.9. Williams is the only UConn player with at least two kick-off returns for touchdowns and two punt returns for touchdowns in a career. - UConn football
