BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

State policeman just gave me a ticket for going 45 in a 35. Committed the act last summer when the speed limit was 45 - it was lowered to 35 a few days ago. Bummer, huh?

So, does not the NFL need to approve the trade for RGIII?

There are some chips on the table for both sides to play with.

Only if they want to dig deeper into the slop. Retaliation in any form would bring even more consequences to the league. The trade will go through.

That's what I figured but they've already stepped into a deep cow pie, a modicum of trepidation might be a good idea from both sides.

I suspect that once "official" documentation has been tendered, things will ease up a bit. I doubt that Allen was wholly ignorant of the situation and it was accounted for in The Plan.

The timing just sucks.

And still not 1 word referencing any of this on NFL.com.

Wow. Just Wow. What a completely odd happening. Gonna be an interesting couple days watching how this unfolds.

Something just doesn't add up. Stephen Jones is on the Competition commitee.

Jerruh's son ,Cowboys Chief Operating Officer, and Cap expert in no particular order. ;)

The committee consists of McKay, Fisher, Murphy, Whisenhunt, Stephen Jones (Dallas Cowboys), Marvin Lewis (Cincinnati Bengals), John Mara (New York Giants), Ozzie Newsome (Baltimore Ravens) and Rick Smith (Houston Texans).

sources say if this is to happen, they'll put 6 million this year and 30 mill next year ..so they'll be able to sign free agents today to put around our young QB !

This has really pissed me off. But on 2 main fronts.

If the league or management committee did not like the contracts why ratify
them?

Secondly

Pretty sure the extra cap space will not be utilised by the majority of the owners crying because we got smart for once.

If they didn't ratify them, the union would have used it as proof of collusion.
