Breakfast Cereals that are Legendary, for good or bad reasons

Just like the racehorses, raw oats provide me with quick-release energy, phosphorus, protein, fiber, and B vitamins.
Could be the reason why some call me the Italian Stallion

You know, PISSING like a racehorse doesn't MAKE you a racehorse, lol...

You see how they put all of the sugar cereals down at the lower levels in the grocery store and all the healthy cereals up top

If you go to Europe and the rest of the world you really don't see kids eating that shit too frequently

No. But they start smoking at age 9, so there's that :)

I had forgotten about this Cheerios competitor OK's. It lasted around 8 years before being discontinued.

I thought I knew cereals. I have 2 cousins who work for Kellogg's for crying out loud. One invented the Raisin Square which never took either. But I've never seen or heard of this cereal.

And despite that (which I would pushback on) Europeans live on average 2.5 years longer than Americans.

The difference is generally associated with a mix of factors including healthcare access, obesity and cardiovascular disease, drug-overdose and firearm deaths, road deaths, socioeconomic inequality, breakfast cereal differences, and lifestyle differences.

Back on topic.

I had completely forgotten Buc Wheats.

1. I was joking.
2. I have bunches of friends who live in Europe. I think the biggest difference is there is most European communities are built around walking to whatever you need. Homes are smaller and more condensed, but that means there is easier access to just walk to the necessities or use public transport.

But we are getting a ways off the thread topic here. To make this thread topical, we used to fly through Europe and break journey in England when I was a kid on the way to India. And we would stay with a family friend for a day or two in London. The concept of cereal didn't really exist at that point, which was the 80's and 90's. They had the traditional granola mixed with yogurt and fruit, but the sugary, made for children cereals really hadn't gotten there yet. So we had homemade "full English" for breakfast. Reasonable people can debate whether that was more or less healthy, but it was different for sure.

There's no question they live (in general) a more healthy lifestyle than we do.

I have a pretty good idea on what living in Europe is like. 😉
