Guys - something that would be really helpful on the GIF issue would be if you could go to your preferences and switch to the 'Master Style' and test the GIF function using that style. If it works in that style, that lets me know that it is an add-on or our website skin that is causing the issue, and not something in the core Xenforo software. If you will do that and report back, I would appreciate it.

Not sure what the code showing in your GIF insertion is all about burgold? Om and SilentThreat, if you guys will try in Master Style and let me know if the issues are resolved or the same when you get a chance. I may have to ask our guy Ken to take a look. Based on web searches, a lot of boards have had GIF problems with Xenforo 2.2 but I haven't found any 'fixes' posted anywhere.

Om SilentThreat DieselPwr44 - Can you guys try the GIF function again now. I turned off an old add-on related to attachments. It fixed my chat GIF issues.

Changed to Master Style - still didnt work
Logged out, then back in - still didnt work
closed browser window - still didnt work
cleared cache - still didnt work

No change on the Forums ... but, interestingly, GIF search works fine in Chat.

Worked for me in regular mode. I was able to copy

Im able to post the GIF if it's on the

initial options when you click the GIF button. I cannot search any others, it faults.

Is your search working - ie... does it pull up the GIFs you are searching for, or are you not able to search at all? Or does it pull them but it won't let you select? I'm getting a lot of different versions of what the problem is (some have said they get the 'Oops!' message or that it just spins... the more i can nail down the exact issue, the better...

no, i can type in the content i want to search for and when i hit 'enter' the Oops message pops up

It won't let me post a gif in the forum.

I have logged out and back in. Cleared my browser history and cookies.

Still get the same error message as soon as I type in the gif search bar.
