One thing we didn’t get into in depth is, why does it appear we are treating this as an exhibition game? It’s a regular season finale that has implications for the division - it should be all hands on deck, right?

If for no other reason than Howell deserves to play with the best cast available…

We're essentially benching the entire offense even though it's the last game and we are out. Ron is clueless.

The Redskins are going to do the same thing to Howell they've done to Heinicke...give him no chance of winning and then blaming him when he doesn't.

I'm okay with the idea of sitting some vets in meaningless game in order to get the kids some playing time (and film) ... but not really okay with doing that at the expense of a rookie QB. Particularly given the circumstances surrounding Howell and the QB position of this team heading into the offseason. Most important thing to me would be to see maximum attention paid to pass pro and at least giving the kid a chance to make a read or two and throw the ball. If it's all jailbreak all the time--a likely scenario even WITH the starting OL this season--it's going to be a long day for Howell and we'll learn absolutely nothing.

For once I wanted some Incessant Bitching after last weeks debacle, however even I don't have the energy to muster for it myself as deflated my fandom is at the moment. As far as Rivera's future goes, unless he resigns or retires he's here next year, no way Snyder can make a move with pending sale as much as I wanted Rivera gone last year it is what it is. With Howell, I just hope we don't feed him to the wolves, I still think Spurrier ruined Ramsey by having him shellacked early in his career. It'll be interesting if Turner adapts a game plan with quick 3 step reads or believes the "system" knows all. Well done gents, the fact that after this team put on one of the most uninspiring performances(except the defense until we lost Allen) when it mattered AGAIN that you'd take time out of your schedules to comment on this cesspool of a team is commendable and appreciated.
