BGO Blind Pig: Washington's Free Agency Frenzy

After the trades of Sweat and Young as well as the on field poor performances of Gates, Wylie, Barton, etc. as the 2023 free agent acquisitions I think it was absolutely necessary to make the number of moves that Peters and Quinn have for 2024.

There were a lot of holes here and the complexion of this team was much more that of an expansion team than an established franchise.

Home run so far in my book. I’d probably drop them to an A- because I’m not 100% sold on dealing Howell. Might’ve stuck with Brissett vs. Mariota but that might’ve not been possible. But that’s my only quibble.

Yep. Howell is a question mark. The only other obvious one was that if you are trying to eliminate all absolute needs we didn't sign a tackle. If we acquired a short term rental there we really could be 100% BPA. Still, I can't downgrade them much for that the FA tackles weren't amazing, tackles are expensive, and it's supposedly a very good year for tackles in the draft.
