BGO Blind Pig: Washington Free Agent Targets?

Between Armstrong, Fowler, and Ferrell, we are bringing in a pretty decent amount of experience at the Edge spot. I think that is one position in particular where it is important to lean on some veteran presence in the early stages of a rebuild. It also allows a guy like KJ Henry, who showed a bit of promise last year, to not have to press or have unreasonable expectations placed on him when he in all likelihood is not ready to be a full time player.

I like this strategy as well as it leaves the door wide open in the early parts of the draft to hit on OL, QB, TE, and WR, depending on what we do in the defensive backfield the rest of the way.

It also speaks to the fact the team had zero pass rush after Sweat was traded.

DE was a dark hole on this team as was the offensive line and both areas are getting the attention Ron Rivera either didn't give in some cases or acquired the wrong players in others.
