A lot of the draft sites and such that I have browsed give you the impression that taking a guy like O'Cyrus Torrence or Darnell Wright (both of whom are exactly the types of players I think we need) at 16 could be viewed as a bit of a reach. It was interesting to see that Torrence and Wright are rated in this resource exactly around where we are picking, and thus could be seen as really good value at #16. I guess at the end of the day, all that really matters is how the team's board is constructed and what league circles feel about these player. Everybody else is just speculating. We will see it again on Thursday, as we do every year - guys will be picked way higher than we think they should and guys will still be sitting there on Day 3 that we thought should have been taken rounds earlier. Hence, the beauty of the NFL Draft process.
 
The hardest thing about this is separating the prediction of what they are going to do vs what our own personal wish list is... I know what I would do up and down this draft, but I have little confidence they share the same opinion.

Now the the Rodgers trade and a 1st round swap. Well back to the simulators. Albeit I can see both going o line picking before us. Or does GB go with WR to give Love some help. Do the Jets go RB??

Pretty early for a TE, and I'll wager you .18 cents GB trades back into the 20's

It is, ST. Was plenty surprised to see Skoronski and Hooker available at those spots. Jumped at em both, even knowing taking QB in the third would make some folks’ crania burst.
 
I remember when you all were doing this mock, you mentioned no trades, even though the simulator was presenting some great trades. So I decided to see if I could trade my way into getting a full team. I had some rules I followed. I would not trade out of round 1. In the next rounds, I would not trade down more than 5 spots. I also would not trade for 2024 picks alone. I wanted more picks this year to see what I could do. I got to 20 players and went with just 2 WR and 1 DT since those are the team's strength. I also drafted 2 LBs and 3 CBs since nickel is played so often. I have no idea if any of these players are good or if they fit the system. I just thought it would be fun to see how many picks I could get and if you could get 22 new players. I'm sure I could if I tried and tried, but this was close enough to have a little fun.
