Best concert you've ever attended?

I had the option of going to this with a friend who offered me tickets - and I LOVED GnR and Metallica - or on a first date with a girl I had a huge crush on at my fast food job.

Hormones won.

Worst date I have probably ever been on. We were oil and water and she showed a side that I had never seen during our brief interactions over the fry machine.

33 years later, I still tell that story and regret that choice.

I'm sorry about that.

Not to pour salt in the wound, but I went with a date and it was fabulous...

This is easy: Gun n' Roses & Metallica tour, July 17th, 1992 at RFK.

That was a day. Man, that was a day.

I was at that show. Axl Rose is/was a primadonna and made us wait forever before he deigned to come out on stage.

I honestly don't remember the wait, but that was mostly due to other circumstances.

Opposed to Bono at RFK for Joshua Tree. He was jamming out, it was raining ,and he slid and broke his shoulder or collar bone? He went backstage for 15 or 20 minutes and came back out with his arm and shoulder tied up and continued the concert! No primadonna!!!

I love U2 (although never seen them live) and have always had a lot of respect for Bono. Has always seemed like a top notch human being, and as a rock singer, he is one of the greats.
