We are just past the midway point of our glorious 11 game winning streak to end the season. Who would have guessed? To say we are who they thought we weren't is an understatement.

Last place in the division? Not a chance. No time soon, in fact. These aren't the Redskins of my adolescence, these guys can play. You know what I love the most though? The fact that we are a very young team. All of our superstars are very, very young. That tells me we have the potential to be great for a very long time. If that doesn't give you a 12 Viagra erection, you're just not a fan.

I think though, that there is actually something I love even more about the recent change of events. I'm looking ahead to next year when the schedule comes out. When fans all over the country see us on their schedule and utter a collective "****!", that's a loss.

My brother is a Dallas fan. You'll have to excuse his poor taste. We didn't grow up together, so I didn't have the opportunity to guide him in the right direction. But what can you do? I told him I'll tell the guys on the bandwagon to save him a seat and keep it warm. See, we have a bright future ahead for a change. Suddenly the hollow mumblings of "there's always next year" won't be something we have to say with despair in our voices and tears in our eyes. Next year has finally arrived. We're looking at good times for the foreseeable future, and it feels great.

So let's go out there Sunday night and take what's rightfully ours. Let's show the world what they've been missing. The beast has been awakened, and the steamroller is being fired up as we speak. Open the doors and step aside, the title is ours for the taking. Washington Redskins, champions. It has a beautiful ****ing ring to it doesn't it? Don't be content with the division, there are plenty more mouths that need to be slammed shut. Keep your ears open for the sound of disbelief with what we've done. Practice your high-stepping so you can get past all those jaws that will be on the floor on our path to the promised land. Believe in yourselves, believe in each other, and don't let up or hesitate for a second. Show no weakness, and fight for every inch until the final whistle blows, and you are champions. It's time to play for keeps. Part the seas, open the sky, and keep on rolling full steam ahead.

FINALLY, change has come to Washington. Change we can all believe in.

I prefer 1:00 pm game times...we'll see fewer and fewer of those.
Same here.

I have a feeling that we'll have a few more games in prime time.

I love everything about 'em, except for the late nights, waiting for the traffic to die down. The post-game tailgate partys are fun, (when we win), but dragging my ass to work the next day is a killer...

For those of us who are out-of-market, the prime time games are better. Central time also helps, as the games end an hour earlier for me than they do on the East Coast.
