Whitt has already been neutered, what would be the point of firing him before the end of the season? To give a scalp to the fanbase?
 
It might give him a head start on trying to find his next gig. Wonder if Dallas wouldn't like to have him back, especially as he is intel-rich on how Washington operates. But yeah, in terms of it being a positive for the team, don't see that it gains you anything.
 
Gotta wonder how Whitt hung on so long after watching the 49ers defense, with all those injuries, dominating all game despite their offense turning the ball over 3 times.

With the way most of my picks have gone this week since Thursday, Washington might actually have a chance to win.
 
Falcons lost, Jags and Niners won.
Anything else is gravy.

I actually find the guests on Manningcast to be cringey and they don't really know much about football. It's a much smoother broadcast when they can are just together and can talk ball, not talk about inane crap between plays. Peyton is so not into it, honestly.
 
I agree, sometimes. But I'll do anything to escape Buck/Aikman. That makes me cringe.

The nfl did a half assed review like always.

His left knee came down out of bounds before his second foot came down.
 
Talk about a game I don’t know how to react to. Will always hate the Giants but we need them to win for draft position.

At the same time NE fans were insufferable during the Brady years and I will always pull against NE. Bill Bellchik being an utter failure without Brady also makes me happy. That guy is a piece garbage, but I digress.

I know his career is done and buried, but I'm here to put a tombstone over Taylor Heinicke's NFL career. The epitaph will say "He was the awesomest, moxiest, fire-in-his-hairiest QB to get passed over by the Colts when they signed someone retired for 4 years instead"
 
Can anyone please explain this from the Rams/Seahawks game on Thursday. The 2 point conversion attempt to tie the game was originally ruled incomplete, but overturned as a lateral. OK, but I thought in the NFL, fumbles (which this would be considered) could not be advanced unless the person who fumbled recovered it. Any help greatly appreciated.
