This thread is for discussing games going on around the nfl non commanders related.

A few good games going on right now, ravens, steelers is a defensive battle, tucker is not the same kicker he once was.
Pats v rams has been a pretty good game too.

Anybody else have Sunday ticket with the 4 game split going on?

I thought about putting up another TV so I could have every game going on without missing any action.

I do have Sunday Ticket but I rarely if ever watch more than one game. Brother Om has kind of turned me on to the Red Zone which I think is a great option if you aren't really zoned in on a particular game or two.

Ravens and Steelers are probably going to score less on each other than we did on both of them.

I can't believe the bears are beating the packers.

As awful as they looked last week and firing their offensive coordinator I assumed this would be a blowout.

Guess sometimes in season changes can have a positive impact.

Haven't really watched much of the Bears game but it looked like Caleb Williams was just running for first downs and DJ Moore catching screens.

I'm not sure much has changed. Jordan Love threw a pick. Bears defense is good though.

Oh come on now, they say you can't use replay to throw a flag on a missed call and yet in the dolphins raiders game that's exactly what they just did.
Even the announcers called them out on it.

I like getting the call right but the nfl has a serious consistency problem, you can't fix that non call and then let games like the one sam darnold got Linda blaired on end and say oh well you can't replay non foul calls.

What's the line on that game? I'm guessing Vegas bookies and the sports betting apps have a vested interest in that one.

That poor woman got absolutely crushed on that TD to Parker lol, if anyone is watch Redzone

Is it my imagination or are recievers initiating a lot more contact now?

Feels like when they do they are either able to gain separation by doing it or get a ticky tack holding call.

Offensive pass interference is so rare I think they're starting to realize more and more how much of an advantage it is to take it to the defensive back 5 or ten yards down the field.

I'd like to see the nfl show a little more emphasis on illegal contact from recievers but that might be just me.

It is so tilted toward the WRs that it's just not fair for the defensive players anymore. WRs push off all the time and it's almost never called.

the dbs always get the shit calls.

Legit question, because I honestly don't know the answer.

Are the rules for recievers and defensive backs identical as it pertains to contact downfield?

I've always assumed they were and that they just let the recievers get away with a lot more, kind of like how a defender can't grasp the facemask at all but a ball carrier can tear the head off a defender because it's a "stiffarm"
