Around the NFL - Gameday Discussion thread

The tush push is just complete garbage.

How about actually running a football play instead of dudes pushing dudes forward in a kind of tug of war type bs.

I picked the Chiefs to win in the pickem contest even though I knew that they had little chance.

Even Mahomes can't do it alone. Kelce totally cost them that game with his bobbled attempt at a catch going in to the endzone.

If not for that the ending was probably going to be a Chiefs win. Hurtz isn't a come from behind QB. He is totally mediocre but his team is going to keep him in front in almost every game.

It's like watching the 2000 Ravens with a slightly better mobile QB winning games he has no right even being competitive in.

I'm glad the Eagles did a super egregiously illegal tush push against the Chiefs. Maybe the league will finally start paying attention now that it impacts NFL darling Mahomes.

Wow, what a week of football.
That giants cowboys game was incredible to watch.

The end of the panthers cardinals game was awesome, the cardinals almost choked historically.

The end of the broncos colts game where they miss the 60 yarder and get another try because of a questionable penalty and win the game, what an insane turn of events.
If you're a broncos fan you're gonna be pissed all week about that ending.

Pats vs Dolphins ending was pretty gnarly too. Back to back TD returns in the 4th quarter has to be unprecedented. Sure, both teams suck but that game was interesting.

If Penix is going to pick the Vikings defense apart wtf are we going to do in 2 weeks?

His receivers are dropping balls. Hopefully that continues on September 28th.

Falcons owned the first half but barely hold a lead. That has usually been a bad omen.

Wish the Redskins had a defense like the Texans or the Bucs. Both defenses are balling tonight.

Browns beat the Packers. Panthers destroyed the Falcons. Saints have given up 35 in just over a quarter and I'm pretty sure that the Seahawks aren't that good.

The Saints must now be the worst team in the league.

I hope the Bears can hold this lead against the Cowboys

Atlanta brought Kirk in the game it was so bad. Apparently the Penix pick isn't working out for them. He looked alright to end the season last year but he's only played in a few games.

So far this year we have not been getting any turnovers. Next week that has to change. Cousins led the league in turnovers last year and Penix was chucking them up today vs a bad Panthers defense.

Herbert has definitely improved since Harbaugh got there. He's running around more keeping plays alive. I remember a couple years ago he'd usually just check it down like Kirk Cousins and lose games because he gave up on plays.

That is going to be a tough game in a couple weeks, and we are down some DBs too.

It's been a rough week for my picks. I was wrong on 6 of 14 so far. I rolled the dice on the Rams and the Cardinals to win and they both probably should have but the rest of them were unexpected. Especially the Browns and the Panthers. The Browns would be a legit team if they had an offense. Their defense is probably the best in the league.
