Wasted no time in sampling and I gotta say; this stuff is fantastic! Notes of vanilla and cream and spices...its really good. Not harsh at all, which is what I was expecting from a 9 year.

We finally agree on a tasting!! I told you it's one of the best bourbons I've ever had period and at 46 a bottle??? Puuuuhlease! Be careful though it'll bang you up before you even realize it.

I thought at nine years old and 134.4 proof would be harsh too, I was wary trying these but it's unbelievably smooth for that high a proof bourbon.
 
Oh man, it gets so much better as the ice melts, holy cow! But this stuff if you can find it!

$46.00 is a steal! I live in MD, near BWI, and saw a bottle of it at a liquor store in Odenton...they wanted something like $150.00 for it!

No you can't find BTAC around here now it's gone. This Jr will be going for between 100 to 175 a bottle in the near future if you can get your hands on it. It's a classic bourbon.

Maybe. They just packaged the wrong thing for me. I might have gotten those two, but they never had any more I don't think. Either that or they just realized what they had and when you go by again you'll notice a nice price bump.
 
I've got my eye on a bottle of Parkers Heritage Promise of Hope. I located in in MD, but can't get there until the weekend. Hopefully it'll still be there, but with my luck lately I'm not counting on it.

*edit* my friend Larry is going by to pick it up for me tonight. That should help my chances!
