It would be great to see Daniels as that next legend as he says at the end. Ovechkin did it all with one team too, our team. I’ve been blessed in my lifetime to see three all time legends play in their sports, all for one team, all for my teams. Darrel Green, while he doesn’t have an all time record, he did play for what seemed like forever, defying Father Time. Cal Ripken breaking the consecutive games record goes without saying. Now Ovechkin being the all time goal leader. It is moments like this I can look back and appreciate the greatness I have been able to see. And yes, all three of those teams have brought me pain, even with those legends playing. But these are remarkable achievements all for one team, which just doesn’t happen very often.
