I’m going to try and post a picture of a capitals great to countdown the number of goals to break the record. I encourage others to do the same in this thread. Some legends numbers may be obvious (5, 7, 8, and 11 come to mind), but other numbers may have some variety. This will be a fun way to track it. Just make sure the number is visible in the picture.

Truly amazing. If anyone here has a choice between Ovie Goal and WIN (not both), what do people pick right now? I assume WIN, but is that true every day? Is it more like 50/50 given their record is already solid and Ovie is only getting older? Hope the Caps can get back to getting BOTH BOTH BOTH!!!!

I didn’t stay up, but I saw the highlight this morning. Ovechkin got the puck in an empty net situation and passed it to a wide open Protas so he could score and get the hat trick. It was 100% the right move to not only pass, but also to get it to Protas so he could get the hat trick. Still on 9, but 3 more assists for Ovechkin last night to continue an amazing year for both he and the team.
