Joe judge ripped our team and clowned us about the fight.

Rivera....no response. Literally "I have no response"

He's not the mad dog he once was. The fire seems to be extinguished

I think Rivera is wise enough not be public about his thoughts. I would be shocked if he doesn’t use it as a motivator in private. He has class unlike that clown in New York.

Sometimes you need to punch someone in the mouth to show the rest of them you aren't messing around.

Rivera has been looking very soft. Now he's letting clowns like Judge talk shit on him, his team, and the organization. He should have responded with something condescending or outright "shut up, clown"

Ron’s response was correct.

Gibbs didn’t like Buddy Ryan and the way he ran his mouth. Don’t remember him responding publicly…..but they did as a team on the field.

It was soft.

Gibbs won and winning solves everything. We aren't winning.

If Rivera dominates even half as much as Joe did, cool. But, he doesn't.

On the other hand, nothing makes an idiot look more like an idiot, or pisses the idiot off, more than being ignored.

Different strokes.

Ok, devil's advocate:

Why am I fighting for this team when you won't? If you don't care what people say or how they treat us, why am I out risking injury for it?

To my knowledge no one in a position to know has said Ron doesn't care or isn't fighting for the team. I'm just saying I'm okay with him not engaging an idiot through the press.

What you do in public defines who you are more than what you say behind closed doors. He just had an interview where he had no reply. That's my proof and where I'm coming from with my side of it.

He had a reply. He said he found the comments ‘interesting’. He went on to say he doesn’t respond to interesting.

That alone says to me that he thinks Judge’s comment were clown like. Kudos to him for having the character to brush it off. Maybe the two will square off after the game WWE style. IF Judge has the time with so many emails and phone calls to return with all of his former players that want to come back to play for him. 😉

I don't agree. If someone bullies or talks bad about my kids I don't think the "no comment" road works.

Yeah, because this is clearly the same situation. FFS.

Yes, it is. I coach kids in both wrestling and football. So, if another coach even raised their voice to my kids I'd get in their asses.

Or, did you just assume i meant my children and got all dramatic on me?

First of all, don‘t color my comments as dramatic or such. It is neither warranted nor appreciated.

Second of all, referencing kids (whether your own or others) is not in an way comparable to a group of fully grown professional adults. It’s just not. And no one raised their voice in this instance so I have no idea why that is even touched on.

All that happened was that Judge felt the need, for whatever reason, to comment in a curious passive-aggressive fashion to highlight how good his management style is…days before losing his job.

Oh, so you normally say "for fucks sake" when having a rational conversation? Got it. That's a first but, cool.

Well, I can tell you that players on teams respond the same no matter the age. I did all through high school, the military, and now as a coach myself. They are 100x more motivated to play hard for someone who fights for them and doesn't allow them to be disrespected. My example of "raising their voice" makes total sense unless you just don't want to see anyone else's side of things.

Finally, the article on Rivera came out today. His response that I'm referencing came out today. So, it's very relevant and matters.

Gregg Williams motivated players. And almost lost his chance to continue being an NFL coach because he couldn't stay within boundaries any adult knows are there. Much rather have a class act like Rivera who actually has some sense, some self-control, and is smart enough not to take the bait than a loudmouth clown like Judge.

I never say ‘for fucks sake’ when having a rational conversation.

What article? I would love to read it.

Then you were either being condescending or dramatic. That is why I spoke like that. I was being perfectly respectful to everyone, just disagreeing.

I'm sure you can find the article if you look for it.
