Thanks to all for participating thus far! We have a lot of entries and hopefully more to come with still six days to go before the draft. To all who have entered, remember, you can edit your picks all the way up to Thursday evening. I have changed my picks probably five times already and think about it far too often than I should being a grown adult.

Round 1, pick 29: Shavon Revel Jr, CB, East Carolina
Round 2, pick 61: Oluwafemi Oladejo, Edge, UCLA
Round 4, pick 128: Billy Bowman Jr, S, Oklahoma
Round 6, pick 205: Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Arizona
Round 7, pick 245: Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan, OT, Oregon State

You still have time (up until the start of the draft Thursday night) to join the 'On the Clock' contest and put yourself in the running for some nice prizes!

To those who have submitted entries with trades, please edit to assume no trades. I know trades will likely happen, but contest rules ask that you come up with your best guesses for the picks we currently have assigned to us. Thanks for playing! CH

well . . . i do believe there will be a trade down at 29 . . . however the rules say assume no trades, so here goes:

29. TreVeyon Henderson RB Ohio State
61. Jayden Higgins WR Iowa State
128. David Walker EDGE Central Arkansas
205. Luke Lachey TE Iowa
245. Nazir Stackhouse DT Georgia

the best thing for points if assuming a trade down is to still take those players you think we'll ultimately take. ie, if you think we're going to take Henderson at 35 after a trade back, then you're good. Don't select players that you think we take at 29 if ultimately you dont think we will be picking at 29

I do think there would be a trade down . . . and believe that AP LOVES him some Henderson . . . I wouldn't be completely surprised if he stayed at 29 and took Henderson, but expect a trade to the 33 - 40 range and then select Henderson. for out sixth, i love Iowa TE's, so i think he would be good . . . but if the safety, Hunter Wohler from Wisconsin makes it there (should be close to his range) he could be the pick as well.

Round 1 (29): Maxwell Hairston, CB
Round 2 (61): Femi Oladejo, EDGE
Round 4 (128): Tai Felton, WR
Round 6 (205): Jacob Crosky Merritt, RB
Round 7 (245): Jailin Walker, LB

Here goes nothing:

Round 1 (29th pick): Nick Emmanwori - S
Round 2 (61st pick): Landon Jackson - Edge
Round 4 (128th pick via Houston): Denzel Burke - CB
Round 6 (205th pick): Jaydon Blue - RB
Round 7 (245 pick): Connor Colby - OL

Tie breaker - 3 trades for Commanders

Round 7 (245 pick): Ryan Fitzgerald, PK, FSU

A sincere thank you to all who have joined the mock draft pool this year. We have our biggest pool of entries since the inception of the "On The Clock" Draft Pool! For those who haven't joined yet, there is still time up until 5:30 Thursday night to get your picks in. Also, to those who have entered, feel free to edit or change any picks up until that time. At 5:30 tomorrow night, I will document all the picks into a spreadsheet to track results.

IMPORTANT:

Please note that your entries can only include selections for the five picks we currently have in rounds 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7. If you have filled out an entry and have selections let's say for a third round choice, even if you get that player selection correct, it will be voided. Why? Because we currently don't have a third rounder. The picks we currently have entering the start of Thursday's draft will be the only ones considered for purposes of the pool. Hope that all makes sense and again, thank you for making the Mock Draft pool bigger and better every year! Good luck to all!

Round 1 (29th pick): Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky
Round 2 (61st pick): Kevin Winston S Penn St
Round 4 (128th pick via Houston): Jalen Travis OT Iowa St
Round 6 (205th pick): Isaac TeSlaa WR Arkansas
Rount 7 (245 pick): LeQuint Allen RB Syracuse

1 Trade

Thank you!

18 total contestants this year! Great job, BGO! So looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.

I have attached my chart with everyone's picks logged as of 5:30 pm, April 24th, 2025.

Scoring system and point values are posted on the chart to help you reference your score.

I will update scoring after Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3.

* IMPORTANT: please note that I will be granting points as per NFL Scouting Combine groupings for positional purposes. This means for instance if we pick an Offensive Tackle player in Round 1, but you had us taking a Guard, you will still earn positional points for that selection, as they are both in the OL positional grouping.

I will group positions as follows:

D-Line = Edge/DT
Linebackers
Defensive Backs = Safety/CB
Running Back
Tight End
Wide Receiver
O-Line = Guards/Tackles
Quarterback
Special Teams = Punters/Kickers

Will add your entry to the spreadsheet, Solitary Man!

Leader in the clubhouse going into Day 2 of the NFL draft in our mock draft pool will be skinsinparadise and SkinsOrlando. They were the only contestants who identified the correct position the Commanders would address in round 1 of the draft (OL). While nobody was able to hit on the right player, SIP and SO will take the early lead into Friday with positional points. This contest is literally anybody’s to be had right up until the final pick, as it is so challenging to even identify a correct pick in the first place. Good luck to all!
