4th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

You had a big run, Kel. An amazing run. Great job this season.

And I agree with you on the multiple league thing. I had almost your identical roster in another league last week. It really screwed me up.

Drafting the same players across multiple leagues would be great, but it's probably unlikely. Different draft orders and players with different strategies make it nearly impossible.

OK so I need to ask.... Lanky? WTF?

I spent all day thinking it was Denver/KC tonight. Haven't had much time to spend on fantasy this week, and my "free league" unfortunately was the one that got abandoned.

It might be a blessing in disguise. Gates hasn't done anything so far.

What I meant to say was, yeah, I totally saw this coming because I'm a fantasy genius! :)

Haha.. I was curious how you could leave gronk in over gates but it may just have worked out. Good job getting me on Peyton's worst offensive output of the year. Yay. I feel like the Peyton Manning of old around playoff time... one and done>?

So back from vacation to discover that Peterson is out today. Hoo-ray!

Of course I dropped Cleveland's defense, as they take a cutler pass to the house. Ugh.

Yeah, their defense is out scoring Josh Gordon today. :(

For the record I did attempt to swap out putrid Stevie ****ing Johnson this morning but my clock was off and I was 1 minute late :(

Today's going well so far. I just gotta hope that the Gingah Ninja doesn't go all world.

For this league and my work league I need a shootout tonight, with Bell getting a ton of points as well as Brown, the Ginger and Gresham. Pretty much guarantees a 6-3 snooze fest...

Okay. 7 TDs from Bernard and 9 more from Bell and I'll have this thing wrapped up.

Okay, change of plans.

I've calculated that I need Baltimore's kicker to make exactly 173 field goals tomorrow night for the win.

Or, like only 140 of them from beyond 50 yards. So....I'm feeling pretty good about this.

I was kinda liking the idea of not needing Megatron this weekend... Oh well the Red Rifle :puke: seems to have other thoughts

I almost subbed in Doug Baldwin for Harry Douglas, given his disappointing stat line last week, but figured every Falcon would go bananas against the Skins. Oh well.

Kind of appropriate that my fantasy season will be bookended by Peyton's best performance and his worst performance. Good luck repeating, DM - you're gonna need it! Neo's team is fierce!

And the worst part about fantasy: Canadian Hog's team was dominant yesterday, and would have probably crushed us both (barring another 300-yard effort from Megatron).

I hate Fantasy. With 1k on the line, I dropped the Browns D for the Bills D this week. Bills D did fine, but I'd be up big right now had I kept the Browns. And I sat La'Veon Bell for AlMo, figuring with Cousins in there Kyle might actually run the ball some. Now I'm down 15, with Torrey Smith playing, but my opponent has the Ravens Kicker. Sigh.

You got 23 points from your D against me yesterday :)

Thanks to all for a great season once again!

I'm still a bit heartbroken at the fact that I slipped out of 1st place, after being there for quite a while, in the final game of the regular season and was forced to play in the opening playoff round.

Of course, after scoring 105 points, Lanky decided to pin 143 on me in the quarter final. I truly feel like I let a potential spot in the championship slip away, seeing that I had a really good week with yesterday's results. Too bad it was a meaningless game for me.

If anything, I think I proved this year that just as important as drafting is how you work the waiver wire. You need to catch a few breaks on the waiver wire to survive fantasy many times.

I picked 12th, selected Arian Foster and Danny Amendola with 2 of my first 3 picks (bad picks), and still managed to win 10 games this year. The likes of Keenan Allen and Nick Foles really helped me mid-season and beyond to stay competitive.

Let's do this all again next year and count me in for 2014.

Congratulations Neo. You put up a solid score, and I couldn't even break 100.

Great season, and good luck going forward.
