4th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Neo just might put me in the playoffs, beating the basty nasterds...

Well he leapfrogged me for the scoring title....as he should have. If I lose it will be a 4 or 5 way tie in first second place. If I win I can get second place.

Just call me the 2012 Redskins. 7-0 down the stretch to make the playoffs.

Russell Wilson is balling out. Making me nervous!

If they played the same schedule as Fear the Kitty!, Violator Bunnies would be 8-4.
Violator Bunnies would be 97-72 if they played every team every week.

I see those things, and go...how do I have such a bad record again? Fantasy, I tell ya. At least Goaldeje gets scored on more now :p

She's a cruel mistress, that's for sure.

I get the Bacon Strips in round one, the team that beat me by 0.6 points last time we played. I want revenge! :)

And if I had played almost anyone else's schedule I would be in the playoffs. It is what it is.

Nice! I did that last year at the same time as the Redskins.... You were pretty far down the leader board not too long ago... great season!

During this upcoming bye week I would like to plead with the football gods to give me Julius Thomas and Darren McFadden back at least somewhat healthy.... too much to ask? Probably. Great season fellas, paloffs is NOW!

It's amazing how close the season has been. Had I played Ben Tate instead of Pierre Thomas this past week, I'd have clinched 1st place. One bad decision at the worst of possible times now has me staring at a 1st round playoff matchup, instead of 1st place and a bye.

Disappointing, but considering that I picked 12th of 14 teams and still finished with a 9-4 record, I'll take it.

Lanky, looking forward to the rematch next week and best of luck!

It does seem like bad timing and injuries have done mean things to teams this year. I'd say we all drafted fairly well with how tight some of the contests are, and how high some of the scoring has been.

I was wondering who had Ben Tate! I'm surprised you didn't start him against the NE run defense. Oh well, now you get to beat up on me in the first round! :)

Don't trust him for a second CH... this is a perfect example of his fantasy reverse Ju-Ju play. Don't fall for it!

Good game this week... Sorry you had to miss out on first place! However, its pretty cool that the scoring leader got first place, sux really bad to lead the league in scoring and miss the playoffs or get a bad seed.

Not as much as my mom though!

Wait a minute, hang on.

Thanks. It was a tough start having Doug Martin and no other running back, which was essentially no running backs even when Martin was healthy. I just kept rolling the dice on RBs until I could find ones that would stick. I was able to find a good one and a few decent ones to help me out. I don't think my team could put up the 150 it may take to beat some teams, but I like the team I have put together.

Playing with Drew Brees in this league.

Playing against him in my other.

I may just go back to only this league next year.

I"m not sure there's a worse feeling in FF than having to play against Drew Brees.

Well, it was a good ride while it lasted. The story I'm about to tell you is true. I did not change the names to protect the innocent, because I'm the dummy who did this.

This is my secondary league and while I pay attention and make all my moves and do my best, sometimes my attention to detail suffers. In my main league, I had both Alex Smith and RG3. When I heard about the upcoming snow for the game, I spent all weekend watching the weather and trying to read online to see if it was worth dropping Alex Smith for Josh McCown. Everyone was high on McCown this week (there will be a lot of crowing by experts now), and I figured with bad weather, Smith wouldn't have a great game. So at 12:34 on Sunday afternoon, as I'm walking to my car from church, I drop Smith and pickup McCown and play him. Genius move and I scored 165 points in that league.

I NEVER even thought to look at the weather in Philadelphia. NEVER. Didn't check it on Sunday before the start of the games. NOTHING. If I had seen what was going on in Philly, the move would have been to drop someone from my bench and pick up McCown. UGH! That would have been the difference in my game since he lit up the cowboys.

I'm playing in too many leagues to keep up with all of them. Maybe next year I'll draft all the same players so my decisions can will be much easiser to make.
