Figures...I bench Fitz because he has been struggling and is playing SF and what does he do but go off for 20+. Then I go looking for a new defense because I figure the Titans playing in Seattle is a bad deal, pick up Det who is playing against the Browns with Weeden back under center and the Titans post a better score.

I know nothing. Neither do the experts.

Every single player on my team underperformed last night except my kicker. My team is just brutally awful.

Goal,

It isn't always about winning this week. Sometimes it is about figuring out what you did wrong so you don't loose next week.

And I have to tell you, I was not at all confident of winning this week mid afternoon yesterday.
 
On another note, if anybody needs to fill a by week with 10-13 points for running back, I'm happy to help them with a trade for DeAngelo Williams for the right price. He's against the Rams, should get you some production!
 
Anyone want Gronk before I let him go? If I'm not making the playoffs there's no point in waiting for him to heal up.

Who are you going to drop him for? That is the question, Henry. If I were you, I would hang on to him. You have stuck with that pick this long, what's another week or two? Once he comes back he immediately becomes Brady's #1 red zone target. There isn't a guy on the waiver wire right now in our league with more potential.

Eh...Floyd is a solid 8-9 points a week (with breakout potential), Gronkowski hasn't done squat and may not do squat. Reminds me of the Manning timelines from two years ago; I may not get Gronk back until its too late for me anyway.

I think he will see the field in the next two weeks and so do you. He is also perfectly capable of matching Floyd's current season total in 6 quarters. I had him last year and watched him do it.

And you are all of one game out of 5th place so don't give me the nearly "too late for me" speech. You are in the thick of it. :)

I've had Gronk on my roster since the draft and he's been two weeks from seeing the field since the preseason. At this point reports saying he's close mean nothing.

Of course, THIS time the Pats might really be telling the truth and he might really BE close. That's why I offered to trade him. But make no mistake he's a roll of the dice and I just can't afford to wait any longer. I'm 1-5. A potential red-zone threat when I'm 1-7 is useless to me. I'll take a healthy decent WR right now, since I only have two, thanks.

If you want the max trade value back for a player you may drop in the future, post in in here.....and then wait a few days. There's no rush. That way you give everyone the opportunity to see the player, and then you can pick and choose from the highest bidder.

Why take the first offer, when there might be 13 offers?

To be fair, there is somewhat of a rush if you want the trade to happen before Sunday.

But if you put the guy up on Monday or Tuesday....waiting until Thursday is only going to work in your favor.

Good point, though I'm not much of a wheeler and a dealer. I was honestly just about to drop him when I thought I'd just check and see if anyone wanted him. It didn't even occur to me there'd be much demand.

It's probably because I suck at FF but I thought Lanky was doing me a favor. :)
