4th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Yeah, so I futzed with my draft rankings a little and then forgot about it until 11:15 or so, by which time I had drafted RG and Garcon and, uh, no RBs. And by then it was too late.

My best RB is Ahmad Bradshaw. Thats all I have to say about that.

Finley is a fine player, its the animosity between him and Rogers that makes that play weaker. I wish Rogers would just use him more, he can be a helluva target.

I find his hands to be a bit too questionable but maybe that is my projecting from a couple of years ago when he let me down too often.

I am starting another draft right now, and any opinions are appreciated.

It's a 10 team league, 6 pts for a passing TD, just like our league.

But.....3 Wide Receivers. That's messing me up.

Did autopick take Michael Turner Al? Say yes. :dizzy2:

I'd like to change that this season...any ideas on how to spice up the trade market?

It think it is tougher to do in a bigger league like ours well the NFL's talent is spread so thin. It's tough for anyone to have the quality depth to be able to trade away a talent at one position for a talent at another position, while not feeling like we are weakening our team.

Granted, that doesn't help with how to fix it. Just my thoughts on why our league is the way it is.

Nah its just a league where nobody offers legitimate trades... dez bryant for marshawn lynch str8 up... LOL

I tried to make several trades last year, but with no luck. Fair deals too.

This is a trade that's better done with accompanying RB & WR of lesser value - so its essentially trading Lynch & a lesser WR for Bryant and a lesser RB. But that trade isn't turrible.

Last year I offered someone a starting WR for a stud RB straight up. The two players were tied in fantasy points at that moment but the WR had already had his bye week while the RB had not. I was weak at RB and he was weak at WR so on paper it was at least good for a discussion, if not a straight up trade. I never even heard back on my offer.

<shrug>

Accepted your offer Ax

I am also graded weak on RB's. I'd be willing to entertain trades (but I suck at this so please dont take advantage! lol)

I'm not sure I can allow that trade, fellas...doesn't seem fair. The projected #1 WR in fantasy football for Wes Welker...Welker is projected at almost 50pts lower, and it probably won't be that close. Can y'all throw in a couple more players to even up the point differential a bit? Any comments from the rest of the league?

Why don't we put it to a vote? I'm fine with it, because it's a Cowboy, I understand Ax's dilemma.

That trade is insane. Certainly you can get much better than Wes Welker.

I'm at work right now, but I'd give you much better than Wes Welker.
