It was total luck though. I wouldn't even have Foles on my roster had Bradford not gotten injured. Also, he wouldn't likely be on my roster had Carson Palmer, who I picked up in a pinch off the waiver wire to fill in wasn't on a bye this past week.

I actually initally picked up Keenum earlier in the week and then dropped him and picked up Foles. I thought he would have a bit of a better go vs. the Raiders. To see him go off like that was certainly not expected, nor was it enjoyed. I'd rather the Eagles fall on their faces every week.

I was actually quite worried going into the Sunday nighter. I was still down 10 points with 3 guys remaining, but it wasn't a guarantee. When I found out that Foster was starting for the Texans, I inserted him in the lineup and benched Jarret Boykin who goes tonight. As I'm watching the game, I see Foster leave for the night with zero points after a series, and TY Hilton is not being targeted all through the first half. At this point, I was thinking that I'd waste a 50 plus point performance by my QB and lose. I figured Hilton would end up with very few points, and then that would leave it all to chance tonight with Forte against the Packers to make up the difference.

To wake up this morning and see T.Y. have 3 tds was very much welcomed.

It's about time I had to win in a shootout. To this point, teams I've played haven't made me have to work very hard to win. It seems like I've had the good fortune of getting teams on bad weeks many times this year.

By the way, to anybody interested in working something out, I'm still in the market for a QB. It's been a fly by the seat of my pants deal since Bradford went down.

Somehow I am in 6th place. Still not really sure how, but I'll take it! Its no coincidence I'm hovering around .500 for the year - I've scored 890.1 points for, and had 890.32 points scored against me! Wild!

Oddly, Rogers going down might just do the same for me. Nelson has been one of my most consistent performers until last night and the switch in QB just killed him.
