I thought Cousins missed almost the entire preseason due to injury, save for about 8 plays. Grossman and White took almost all of those snaps.

I think Shanahan has lost this team...however that's what people thought about Coughlin also...twice. I am kind of at a loss as to what to do at this point. I do think Griffin will get better, it takes awhile to get back into the flow of things after a major knee injury. Just gotta be patient with him.

It's a sad state of affairs when all the armchair Coaches/GMs/QB's sit back and collectively say: I don't know wtf to do.

We may not be saying that directly, but I don't think there's anyone that doesn't see that's exactly what is going on right now. On all the forums. On all the radio shows.

We have no real general. Everyone is just trying to scramble and fix THEIR issue instead of coming together as a unit and trying to fix it all.

As odd as it sounds, this is part of the reason I hope we got after Larry Fitzgerald in the offseason. He's been on a team that's made it to the Super Bowl, as well as losing teams (see current). He's a very respected Vet, and as good as he's been, ever since the SB run they made, he's had a group of jugs machines throwing the ball to him. He brings instant leadership, and he's a high character guy. I don't think he's nearly the risk like we've taken in the past.

How do you figure Hank is a flop? He is #3 on the team in receiving with 30 catches, he is averaging 12.5 yards per catch and he is tied for the lead on the team with 3 TDs. How is that a flop? Especially since he seems to have improved his hands this year.

You can't look at a WR in isolation. If Hankerson played for Carolina he'd have 60 catches because Newton gets protection that is adequate for downfield plays to develop. Griffin can't stay upright long enough to look downfield, much less get the ball downfield in most instances. I actually view Hankerson as one of this years bright spots. And of course he will be coming back from major injury next year.

Griffin can't stay upright long enough to look downfield, much less get the ball downfield in most instances. I actually view Hankerson as one of this years bright spots. And of course he will be coming back from major injury next year.

Could you imagine how much different this offense would look with Garcon/Fitz/Hank as your WR Corps... then Reed in the middle. You all want to talk about taking pressure off Griffin, that is one way to do it. You cant stack the box with those guys on the outside. 2 deep safety and man to man on the other ones already accounts for 6 people, leaving 5 rushers.

that's true, but im not saying Fitz is the only addition. I still think it would prevent the numerous blitzes we see. Griff might get hit on a 4 man rush, but he also gets hit a lot on blitz packages. I've seen numerous teams attack the line with more guys then we can block.
